Requirements: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Biochemistry, Pharmacology or similar) with 3+ years of laboratory experience

Research associates will be expected to apply focused expertise to projects supporting the development of screening assays, and to the discovery and evaluation of compounds active in the various screens. Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in molecular biology or biochemistry and be willing to contribute to the company product and intellectual property development as exemplified by scientific articles, patents, and internal publications. Research associates are, in addition, expected to present their data in company settings and, if appropriate, at external meetings and in the literature.
Requirements: B.S./ M.S. in a life science + 2-10 years relevant work experience

Specific tasks:
- Prepare strategic plans for marketing Progenra technologies and compounds.
- Ensure a steady flow of quality sales meetings with partners and prospective partners. Proactively communicate with existing partners.
- Ensure Progenra team members are adequately briefed on the outcome of partner interest. Provide sufficient information to the Progenra team on a prospective partner’s needs to allow efficient study design and proposal preparation by the Progenra team.
- Prepare promotional materials in the agreed area of responsibility, calling on the expertise of Progenra experts or external consultants as appropriate.
- Assist in negotiation and securing partnerships agreements and feasibility studies and followed by contracts and license agreement according to company guidelines.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the computerized partner and prospect database, web site and e-marketing activities.
- Carry out market research, competitor and partner surveys as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Ph.D or MBA is an advantage.
2-10 years experience in sales and marketing or business development preferably.
Understanding of the biotechnology and products, appreciation of cellular pathway and importance of ubiquitin pathway, ability to lead the implementation of Global Strategic Plans and become familiar with the specific requirements and processes for sales and licensing and sourcing functions.
